With a bun-in-the-oven due to welcome a wonderful, teeny-fingered, baby-smells-so-good, nephew into existence come April 2008, my FSIL is no longer a contender to be our official wedding photographer. I am equal parts excited (for the new nephew) and equal parts sad (she is a wonderful photographer) in searching for space within my budget (insert more sad here) for a new primary wedding photographer.
The first contender was our engagement photographer Sarah Maren Whitehead of Sarah Maren Photography. Alas, she is no longer available on our date. Who better than Sarah herself, but Sarah's own wedding photographer? Chandra of Eternal Expressions takes fantastically gorgeous shots.

The second contender was discovered through Miss Penguin of WeddingBee fame. She had posted about a recent engagement session that her high school alumni friend Travis Hoehne has just finished - and it was AMAZING! I immediately pawed through his blog and was drooling over his artistic eye and charm that poured itself into his photography.

After speaking/emailing both of them, I've found that Chandra is very talented and a total sweetheart & that Travis is both passionate about his work and has a great sense of humor. Who will we choose!? It's so tough!
