THE TASTING.

For our very first tasting, we were allowed to bring two other guests, so we prompted called up our Best Man and Maid of Honor to join us. After all, what good is the elite Wedding Party title if it doesn't include perks?

While it was a tad hard to find, the office of All Seasons, All Reasons Fine Catering were gorgeously outfitted - much in line with an entire Pottery Barn catalog, with it's distressed black tables and hutches. Candles were lit and a gorgeous table was set for four guests at a large square bar table. Monty warmly greeted each of us with a glass of red and welcomed us into conversation as our meal was prepped.

Josh Garcia then walked in, food in hand, as Monty regaled us with stories of ASAR past, their wins and (semi) losses. Our fully loaded plate entailed the following menu:

Flank Steak Roulade
filled with Fontina, Arugula, Roasted Sweet Peppers, and Prosciutto served with our Wild Mushroom Cabernet Reduction

Proscuitto wrapped Pan Seared Chicken
served with Lemon Thyme Veloute Reduction

Grilled Salmon Fillet with Braised
Hollandaise

Tuscan Pasta
Penne Pasta with Sun dried Tomato Cream Sauce, Italian Olives, Mushrooms, Artichoke Hearts & Pine nuts

Grilled Vegetables

Romaine & Greenleaf Hearts w/Asiago,
Croutons, Sweet 100, Red Onions, Olives w/ Red Wine Vinaigrette

Assortment of Dinner Rolls & Artisan
Breads with Butter

The food was very good. Everything was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were prepared crisp and fresh as I like them and I felt the olives in the salad was a creative touch - though much like an Olive Garden salad. I definitely liked the personal attention and touch that both Monty and Josh accomplish in their business. I knew that if I booked ASAR as my caterer, my guests would not be disappointed. However, I had two other vendors to go....
